REV. WILLIAM FLIPIN – VICE PRESIDENT OF GEORIGA NAACP
SUNDAYS ON THURSDAYS WORSHIP
6PM – THURSDAY JANUARY 22, 2015
AT THE FELLOWSHIP ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH
SAVANNAH, GA – January 15, 2015 The Maritime Bethel at Savannah announces the second sermon in the series of Sundays on Thursdays Worship services which will take place at 6pm on Thursday January 22, 2014 near the port in Garden City at the Fellowship Assembly of God Church.
As the Port of Savannah continues to grow and begins to deepen the ship channel the Port Ministry has decided to continue this initiative to deepen their commitment to spirituality, traditional values, and ecumenical relations.
The Maritime Bethel at Savannah (MBS) will host the well-respected Reverend William Flippin who also serves as the Vice President of Georgia’s NAACP.
The MBS welcomes all to attend this service but it is geared towards our seafarers and port workers as well as those who work on a Sunday and would like to take this opportunity to worship on a Thursday evening. The MBS is renting The Fellowship Assembly of God Church because of the large parking that is able to accommodate large trucks and plenty of vehicles.
Andy Krey, Chaplain and Executive Director of the Maritime Bethel at Savannah comments, “We couldn’t be more pleased that the Reverend Flippin will be with us and hope that many people will take this opportunity to experience our Sundays on Thursdays Worship. Our main goal is to deepen our channel to our God!”
